Responsibilities:
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and administer Oracle EBS applications and databases
Contribute technical expertise to maintain large, complex production environments and plan for instance growth
Review applications/databases, optimize performance, and conduct tuning for SQL queries (including tracing, tkprof, and rewriting poorly performing SQL)
Perform daily health checks for production environments, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement fixes
Perform backup and restore activities using RMAN and manage Oracle Data Guard
Provide DBA support using tools such as Serena or ServiceNow
Manage RAC, ASM, WebLogic Administration, concurrent processing tuning, load balancing, PCP, JVMs, archiving, and purging tools
Ensure database and application parameters are optimized; monitor Oracle database wait events
Support Oracle security, auditing requirements, and compliance with ISO standards
Work with cloud environments (OCI & Azure) and utilize UNIX shell scripting for automation
Document processes, apply patches, and ensure continuous improvement of EBS systems
Requirements:
Proven Oracle DBA experience in production environments
Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture and components (latest versions such as 19c, 12.2 EBS)
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with solid skills in performance tuning and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with RMAN backup & restore, Oracle Data Guard, RAC, ASM, WebLogic Administration
Knowledge of Oracle security concepts, ISO standards, and auditing practices
Familiarity with cloud platforms (OCI & Azure) and UNIX shell scripting
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (spoken and written English)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in international teams
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related technical field
Experience with SOA gateway, ekanban, HP Archiving, and additional Oracle tools
